We are Bedford & New Canaan Magazine …but we’re much more than just BEDFORD and NEW CANAAN!
We bought the then 15-year old Bedford Magazine in 2020 and renamed it as Bedford & New Canaan Magazine to connote that we were redefining the publication’s coverage to circumscribe the real cross- State-border community where we live…and we expanded the distribution to the 25,000 most affluent households in the area.
Our cover feature of this issue on the Humphrey Sisters, highlights our coverage of DARIEN. The three Humphrey sisters, who together won the NCAA Womens Lacrosse National Championship playing at the University of North Carolina in 2025, are products of the #1 in the nation Darien High School lacrosse program!
And, beyond BEDFORD and NEW CANAAN and DARIEN, we also continually cover the people, places, and goings-on in, and distribute Bedford & New Canaan Magazine to: RIDGEFIELD, and to ARMONK, BEDFORD HILLS, KATONAH, MT. KISCO, NORTH SALEM, PLEASANTVILLE, POUND RIDGE, PURCHASE, SOUTH SALEM, and WACCABUC.
Although several imitators have initiated print publications within our broader area of coverage since we got started, we’re proud to be the magazine people in our cross-State-border community turn-to to be introduced to some of the most interesting residents in our community, to get in to see some of the most spectacular houses in the area, and to learn about the plethora of fantastic charities and cultural institutions that are the fibre - and the pride - of our region. …Our readers devote an average of one hour and twenty minutes to each issue of Bedford & New Canaan Magazine!
Our New Year’s resolution is to continue coverage in each and every one of the towns we serve, including DARIEN, RIDGEFIELD, ARMONK, BEDFORD HILLS, KATONAH, MT. KISCO, NORTH SALEM, PLEASANTVILLE, POUND RIDGE, PURCHASE, SOUTH SALEM, and WACCABUC…and, of course, BEDFORD and NEW CANAAN too! …And, true to our motto, we will continue to be ‘Always Local, Always Positive’!
Happy New Year,
Casey Arden Kaplan
