For Children Ages K–5, Thursdays, September 17th & 24th, October 1 & 8, from 4-5pm
Don’t wait to sign up for this popular after-school art program led by local teacher “Ms. Tiffany” McKay. This series, we will dive into the world of Cyrus Kabiru. Kabiru is a Kenyan artist best known for creating imaginative wearable sculptures from recycled materials, transforming everyday discarded objects into bold works of art that celebrate creativity, sustainability, and self-expression.
With Mrs. McKay’s guidance, children will dive into the creative process by using different materials to create their own unique piece inspired by Kabiru’s inventive approach. This hands-on experience not only fosters creativity but also teaches valuable lessons in collaboration and artistic expression.
