Author Talk with Maureen Hogan Lutz

  • Ruth Keeler Memorial Library 276 Titicus Road North Salem, NY, 10560 United States (map)

Storytelling is part of our DNA. It is common to every known culture from the beginning of time. Before humans could write, stories were handed down through the generations. Then came the printing press, the first novels, textbooks, newspapers, followed by the typewritten page and computer word processing. Fiction and non-fiction help us to understand our world.
There are writers here today whose work continues that thread of sharing what we know for those who come after us.
I’m sure there are many of you who have stories to tell. They are nestled in our hearts, bursting to get out. But where and how to start? Some memories are difficult to put on paper – that’s where fiction comes in.
