Every great voyage begins with courage, imagination, and belief in what’s possible. At the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester, we prepare young people to navigate life’s challenges and opportunities with resilience, empathy, and a sense of purpose. Thanks to supporters like you, our youth are already achieving greatness!
Excelling Academically:
For 16 consecutive years, 100% of our high-school seniors have graduated on time and gone on to university, technical school, or the Military. Many are the first in their family to attend college.
92% of members in 3rd -12th grades receive mostly A’s & Bs.
100% of Preschool graduates are Kindergarten ready and water safe; 90% bilingual, entering Mount Kisco Elementary School - a Dual Language Bilingual Education School of Choice in the Bedford Central School District.
Building Health and Fitness:
100% of kids engage in planned daily physical activities, including a coed travel soccer team.
Annually, the Club provides over 140,000 nutritious meals and snacks, made onsite by our Ladle of Love team.
Over 78,000 youth have learned to be water-safe.
Thriving in Wellness:
Our Wellness Center is the first CBO-based program in Westchester County to receive preventative mental health funding.
Over the past 2 years, our onsite clinicians have led over 7,800 therapeutic sessions for members, families, and staff.
As a supervisory center for PhD and Master's students to fulfill their fieldwork requirements, we are developing the future workforce of social workers.
Becoming Leaders:
In the past decade, over 50 teens have traveled to Albany to advocate on behalf of youth programming statewide; resulting in positive changes to policies and funding.
Our Youth of the Year program has produced 1 NYS Youth of the Year and 4 NYS Finalists.
Because of leadership opportunities our youth participate in at the Club, 79% volunteer outside of the Club in their schools, neighborhoods, and communities.
Winning Championships:
Our Marlins Swim Team are 25-year National BGCA Swimming Champions, and 2-time USA Swimming Bronze Level Status recipients.
Your contributions keep their voyage moving forward—ensuring that every child who walks through our doors has the opportunity to dream big, explore new horizons, and reach for their own constellation of success.
