"One of the most admired pianists of his generation" (New York Times), Inon Barnatan has established a uniquely varied career as a soloist, curator, and collaborator. He performs regularly with leading orchestras worldwide and served as the inaugural Artist in Association of the New York Philharmonic. He is currently the Music Director for the SummerFest of the La Jolla Music Society. His Caramoor program traces the evolution of Romantic and post-Romantic piano forms, weaving together Chopin's Four Ballades with works by Field, Barber, Szymanowski, and Thomas Adès.
