Step back in time for an epic, large-scale reenactment of the Battle of White Plains, set against the stunning backdrop of Ward Pound Ridge

Reservation.

Thousands of people from the tri-state region are expected to attend REV FEST 250, which will tell the story of the American Revolution from multiple perspectives – patriots, loyalists, and those caught in between. Part of Westchester's official Semiquincentennial (250th) commemoration of the American Revolution, this two-day, free event will immerse attendees in a Westchester that was filled with patriots, loyalists, and those caught in between.

Activities:

REV FEST 250 is designed with both education and enjoyment in mind, making it accessible and engaging for all ages, allowing visitors to absorb history in different ways through listening, watching, and doing. The over 4,000 acre Ward Pound Ridge Reservation will be transformed back to a time when a rebellion was underway in the lower Hudson Valley through:

500 reenactors participating in a reenactment of the Battle of White Plains Dramatic and musical stage performances Period costume, craft, cooking and manufacturing demonstrations including interactive sessions Exhibitors from across the region

For Visitors:

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets  Food Trucks on Site

Transportation and Parking: There is free parking at Ward Pound Ridge

There will be a shuttle bus from Katonah Metro-North Station. The two closest train stations to the event are Katonah and Goldens Bridge. 

Ride-share Services: ParaTransit is a shared ride public service for people with disabilities that operates within Westchester County. Eligible riders are required to make an advance reservation at least one (1) to seven (7) days in advance. Next day reservations must be made by calling (914) 995-7272 between the hours of 9:00am to 4:55pm. Advanced reservations can be made online or on the app.

Visitors who make a weekend of it are encouraged to use the REV FEST 250 website at visitwestchesterny.com/250 to find local accommodations, restaurants, and attractions, all of which will create a ripple effect of economic activity throughout the county.
