Rosen House Music Room, Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts. Tickets $55.
Praised for their "virtuosity, visceral expression, and rare unity of intention" (Boston Globe), the Viano Quartet has quickly soared to international acclaim as one of the most dynamic and in-demand string quartets of their generation. Formed in 2015 at the Colburn Conservatory of Music, the group achieved major recognition in 2019 after winning First Prize at the Banff International String Quartet Competition, and received an Avery Fisher Career Grant in 2025. Their Caramoor program includes Haydn, Dvořák, Mendelssohn, and the New York premiere of a new string quartet by Indian-American composer Reena Esmail. Part of the Rosen House Concert Series.
